Original WWII American Red Cross Motor Corps Uniform Dress. This is a four pocket coat dress with Peacock Green collar insignia indicating Transportation Services. Nice ARC WWII Sleeve insignia and 4 Service Chevrons the left sleeve. Very nice condition with original insignia attached.
This vintage ARC uniform was worn by volunteer Female drivers from 1936 and during the war.
This uniform dress is about a size 10. Approximate measurements: Bust: 38", Shoulders: 17", Waist: 32", Hips: 36", Sleeves (from shoulder to cuff) 23", Length of shirt from hips to hem: 28", overall length: 48".
Uniform is in good shape, and needs some TLC. It has some have some loose stitching inside one sleeve cuff and inside the collar. There are two very small holes in the bottom rear. These are all easily taken care of.
