East German Army Field Service Jacket (NVA Felddienstuniform Feldjacke (FDU) Sommer) with 2 dosimeter carrying cases sewn into the Jacket. These were to carry the gamma-neutron dosimeter RDC III D which would have shown the radiation exposure of soldiers to a use of nuclear weapons. Dosimeters not included. These were the standard Battle Dress uniform of the NVA from 1967 to 1990. This is an original NVA issue uniform blouse from the 1970's. Made of Strichtarn “Rain Camo” Poly/Cotton fabric with breast pockets, waist pockets, chest pistol pouch, sleeve pockets and Shoulder Boards. Jacket is overall in Excellent condition. Jacket is marked size g 48" (Medium-Regular) (US 38) and year of manufacture code "R" (1976).
