New Run. The Close Combat Clasp in Bronze (Nahkampfspange) was initiated in 1942 recognizing Soldiers who engaged in hand-to-hand combat when unsupported by armor. The Bronze Clasp was awarded for 15 consecutive days of close combat. These clasps are very nice quality pieces with a new authentic finish and flat pin.
