East German M56 Steel Helmet - Refurbished

Vintage East German Army M56 steel helmets that have been completely refurbished. We found a large stock of these in Germany, they were not in the best shape, so we completely restored them.  The shells have been sand blasted, prepped, primed and painted in the correct East German shade of "Dämmergrau." Liners have all been replaced with new or lightly used original six finger leather liner featuring, plastic adjustable liner band, thick foam padding and four-point chinstrap with aluminum hardware. Each helmet comes with an original NVA Helmet Net.  Some shells have minor pitting but there is no rust as all shells have been blasted and metal prepped before painting.  These are in great condition, perfect for display or wear.
