The Ernst Schneller Medal was the highest award of the Society for Sport and Technology in East Germany. Ernst Schneller was a German communist who was executed by the SS in 1944. The bronze GST device is meant to be glued to the red ribbon above the medal. Measures about 1/2". New and unused.
