German Cigarette Case - Edelweiss

Original, German made Cigarette cases (Zigarettenetui) in Nickel plated steel, engraved with the Edelweiss (Edelweiß), the traditional symbol of elite German and Austrian Mountain troops (Gebirgsjäger) and a symbol of the rugged purity of the Alpine region and of its native inhabitants. This is a classic style, German cigarette case, common item carried by many German Soldiers during both world wars and today for protecting their cigarettes. This is model has a nice nickel finish and fine, detailed engraving. It features a push button closure and elastic band to hold 18 cigarettes or cigarillos. Measures approximately: 3-1/4" x 3-3/4".
