The German WW2 Army Service Watch with Black Strap is inspired by original 1938 model by a Swiss manufacturer and marked "Dienstuhr" (service watch) on the gloss black face and "Wassedicht Stahlboden" on back. These models feature a smaller dial with a single hand for recording seconds. Available with an easily replaced, black leather style strap.

An interesting piece!
I like the watch overall, I did realize that the strap is showing signs of wearing/peeling already after being worn a week. This doesn't bother me as I am trying it to "wear it in" to match the frontline soldier look for reenacting. So far that is the only thing I have noticed that was an issue!
