Gulf War Vintage GI Issue S9 BCG Sunglasses. S9s or "birth control glasses" - the nickname given to the iconic BCGs because many service members believe that while wearing the frames, it is impossible to appear attractive. This pair has tinted prescription lenses that were only issued to soldiers deploying to Southwest Asia during Desert Storm, Somalia, Kuwait and other hot spots in the 1980's and 90's. Made by "Romco". Frame size: 50-22, Temple size 4-1/2 - 5-3/4. Unused and like new condition in the original case.
