The 1914 Grand Cross of the Iron Cross (Großkruez) was instituted in 1914 by Kaiser Wilhelm II. This award was originally created by King Frederick William III of Prussia in 1813 and again in 1870 by Kaiser Wilhelm I. The Grand Cross was awarded for outstanding military valor. These are very nice reproductions featuring sharp details and very nice frosted or antiqued silver plating. Includes approximately 8" of ribbon.
