Pair of Reproduction Japanese Army Jika-Tabi black, rubber soled canvas lightweight shoes with a separate toe section. Jika-tabi boots were commonly worn by Japanese soldiers. These rubber-soled footwear that separated the wearer's big toe from the others were developed around the turn of the 20th century and they were based on the design of the traditional Japanese split-toed sock. This pair was made about 15 years ago by the Famous Tokyo company Nakata Shoten. They are in Excellent, unused Condition, and perfect for collectors and reenactors. Marked size 26.0 (8 US).
