New, tactical Improved First Aid Kit (IFAK) pouch Suitable for German Bundeswehr field first aid dressing packs, IFAK or QuickClot bandages. Has a Velcro, YKK zippers and Quick Release fasteners. MOLLE and Bw System compatible. Dimensions approx. 8 x 12 cm. Weight approx. 55 g. Made of 100% Nylon, German Troppentarn material. Size 16 x 12 x 8 cm. The IFAK is currently issued to every Soldier. When issued, the IFAK consists of six expendable medical items packaged inside of a modified MOLLE pouch. The IFAK increases individual Soldier capabilities to provide Self-Aid/Buddy-Aid and provides interventions for two leading causes of death on the battlefield, severe hemorrhage and inadequate airway.
