The Iron Cross 1st Class (Eisener Kreuz 1. Klasse) was re instituted in 1939. The criteria for award was similar to the E.K.2. except that three to five additional acts of bravery were required. Approximately 300,000 E.K.1.s were awarded. These are very nice reproductions featuring sharp details and very nice silver plating.

Real nice
I purchased repro German medals for my recent tunic and I have to save money so I bought this Iron cross and others until I can afford an original. This is top quality and looks great, but a little too new for my original uniform. Super fast shipping and constant communication on purchase and shipping detail A 1!
