Product Description

Kriegsmarine gold brocade sleeve rank used to to designate Flag officer's rating/rank of Kommodore and Vizeadmiral on the lower sleeves of reefer jackets and frock coats. This is original East Germany Navy (Volksmarine) sleeve braid that is very similar to war-time manufactured examples. Made of shinny yellow (Gold) Celleon thread which measures 50mm wide. It takes about 13 inches to make one stripe on the average sleeve. Sold by the Yard.
