At the start of WWI it was determined that the red-brown canvas items were too obvious and so in 1914 the order was given to switch to Grey colored canvas. These Model 1914 Bread bags (Brotbeutel) are made exclusively for us out of authentic Grau (Grey) Cotton Canvas that is EXACTLY like the original material in weight, weave and color. These bread bags are made with high grade leather straps and hardware like the originals. Features re-enforced Left side carry tab to support the canteen. These really are the best repro WWI bread bags we've ever seen.

Excellent! Worth every penny!
I have both the ‘M93’ and the ‘M14’ bread bags, and I have to say they have done good for me! I use the ‘M14’ model almost everyday as a simple carry bag, for work and general use. Just hook it on your belt or carry it around with the bread bag straps. You can’t go wrong!
