September Update 2026
It's been a Hot Summer
Greetings from sunny Kennesaw, Georgia! Although summer is coming to an end, it is still hot all over the USA. It's been in the high 90's here all summer and average temperature in our warehouse is 86 during the day. It's been rough. I know for many of you the war with Iran has been a concern and its effects on gas prices have caused some pain, but to be honest, I think this is a small price for us to pay if we can finish these guys off after almost 50 years of the terrorism, death and destruction they are responsible for. America, Iran and the world will be much better off without the theocratic Islamic Republic regime and their quest for a nuclear weapon (to use against us). All of that said, our economy is improving every day, and we see it with your orders and the number of events happening all over the country. Iris and I want to thank you all for your business and hope you enjoy what's left of your summer, but please take some time out in the coming days to remember 9/11. Next week marks the 25th anniversary of this tragic day and should reemphasize our nations commitment to wiping out radical Islamic and all extremist movements that threaten our nation and all of western civilization.
News and New Items
Pause on EU and UK shipping. Due to new customs and packaging regulations in Europe and the United Kingdom, we are suspending all orders and shipments to these areas. Without getting political, the new regulations are quite burdensome on a small business like ours and threaten significant fines for non-compliance. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to stop shipping to our friends in the UK and EU. These new regulations affect every country including businesses in the EU and UK so hopefully there will be enough pushback and the new regulations will be modified.
Shoei MP-40. The biggest news is the arrival of the new Shoei MP-40 model gun. The finest quality reproduction model gun ever made. We appreciate all of you who pre-ordered these and patiently waited, many months for their arrival, but based on your feedback it was worth the wait. These are in stock and ready for immediate shipment here at Hessen Antique. We are exploring an option for our customers in California. The CA law permits sale and shipment of these models if they include a "frame or plaque' for mounting and display. If you are a California customer and interested in purchasing a CA-Compliant MP-40, please let us know.
Boot Restock.
We have a shipment of our WWII German boots coming from Spain this month. This will include Riding Boots, Jack Boots and Black Low Boots. We have implemented some improvements to the boots that will address as the boots hit our shelves.
Along with our boots we have many items coming from our European vendors. This shipment will include a restock of WWII US GI items from QMI in Belgium. This includes GI boots and Clothing. On the German front, we have many East German NVA items coming that have long been out of stock and some repro WWII German items that we haven't had in a while. Please check the website for updates.
Sales and Events
Since we've relocated into a smaller facility, we have decided to reduce some of our inventory and discontinue many items. We will be putting these items up on our Sale Items page over the next few months. Please check them out for some great deals.
Our next event will be the Tokyo Victory Show in Japan, 16-17 January 2027.
