Product Description
Original WWII German Wehrmacht Entrenching Tool (Schanzzeug) or Spaten with an original carrier. The standard model with straight blade and wooden handle. Maker marked and dated 1939. The carrier is the later version made of "Press-Stoff" with leather straps. The carrier is maker marked and dated 1943. There is a period repair to the strap that holds the Spaten and Bayonet in place and is sold. Very nice original Spaten, used but in Very Good condition.
