Original pair of WWII German Wehrmacht M40 Trousers (Tuchhose). Issued to most soldiers of the Heer (Army). Feldgrau wool construction. I picked these up in Germany in the 1980's, this pair was there and back. Salty pair shows plenty of wartime and most likely post war use and abuse. Possibly worn by a soldier who spent some time in a POW camp. Buttons are a mix of different types. Most of the wools nap is missing below the waist line and there are several repairs and patches. Original markings are all faded away. Interesting pair of original trousers in fair condition.
