Original WWII issue M42 Mess Kit (Meatcan). This is the M1942 version of the GI mess kit made of Aluminum. Made by T.A.C.U. Co, 1945 Dated. This one is in very good condition although the D-Ring on the lid was replaced with brass wire and appears to be a period repair. Still nice and solid only needs some cleaning up.
