German made Internal Base Plate to hold the spike to the German WWI Pickelhaube. Made of Brass. Unlike most of the Pickelhaube parts on the market, this was made in Germany over 30 years ago as replacement/repair parts for original helmets so the quality is fantastic. Unused. It shows some storage age but for the most part it is complete and will clean up nicely.
