Product Description
New reproductions of the sleeve rank insignia for flight clothing. First introduced in 1936, this insignia was authorized for wear on both sleeves of three types of flight clothing as well as on other protective garments. It was common practice for LW officers to wear this insignia on the Parachute Jump Smock and on other LW camouflage smocks and jackets. These reproductions are constructed of wool gull wings machine stitched on a blue-grey wool backing and are copies of original examples on display at the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin. Available in NCO and Officer Ranks. Sold by the pair.
