Every Officer in the Waffen-SS had to purchase his own uniforms. These were either purchased from private tailors and uniform shops, or through the SS-Kleiderkasse (SS-KK). The SS-KK was a sort of Military Clothing Sales firm that officers could order their uniforms from. These uniforms and caps were not the same high quality as private purchase caps, but they were still "Deutsche Wertarbeit" German Quality.
We asked our friends at Hero Collection in Poland to make us a German Quality crusher visor cap, similar to the ones seen in some of the recent top war films. These Waffen-SS crusher caps feature authentic field grey wool custom milled for us in Bavaria, satin lining, leather sweat band, Black velvet cap band, white wool piping, genuine leather visor, and fine quality metal insignia. These hats are "broken in" and ready to wear, you will not be disappointed.

SS Crusher Cap
Excellent Looks great once hat "bashed" and conditioned. Cap peak is especially pleasing once thrashed in the washing machine, shaped/dried and then buffed with some shoe polish. I was not expecting miracles with the insignia at this price point, but I handstitched some quality BEVO insignia and it certainly looks period - best crusher I have purchased (and great value) compared to a lot of other products on the market from other vendors. Also - super quick delivery which was great. Hessen Antique certainly the best vendor I have dealt with worldwide for speed and customer service.
