Original West German Polizei Riding Boots. This pair of German Riding boots was manufactured in the early 1950's and worn by special police units such as Mounted units and Bereitschaftspolizei units of the West German and West Berlin Polizei, one of the last West German para-military organizations to wear Riding Boots and Breeches. Made of full grain leather with leather soles, size 42 (8.5 -9) they are in good shape and show some wear to the leather, pegged soles. Easily mistaken for WWII Riding boots, they will display nicely. There are some scratches to the shafts and one tear on one of the adjustment tabs, this can be repaired.
