WH M43 Field Cap In Late War Wool

insigna was a little to bright and stitching was bad but it was easy enough to fix up and it feels good to wear with a uniform.

This late war cap is as good as any I've owned. Highly recommend.

In one word? Perfect. This met meets and exceeds all of the expectations I felt when I first placed the order. The wool is very soft and extremely smooth to the touch. I was completely overjoyed when I opened the box and tried this on for the first time.

Hessen's latest late war wool cap is well made, yet not as dark as my first one. As I wear a M43/M41 hat nearly every day in public, I don't sport the insignia. Luckily the Wehrmacht trapezoid is lightly stitched on, and is easily removed. Thank you Hessen.

I've worn Hessen's German made M43 daily(no insignia) for years in rainy Portland. But the late war color now has me switching between them. Both are well built quality hats, and it amazes me of the complements that I get for them. Edelweiss sewn on the side. Gott Mit Uns!
