The Wound Badge (Verwundetenabzeichen) was reinstituted in 1939 and awarded to all military and non-military uniformed personnel for wounds received in battle. The 3rd Class Wound Badge in Black was awarded for one and two wounds. These badges are the finest quality, die struck pieces featuring superb detail, original quality pins and maker's marks.

Looks absolutely beautiful!!! The structure is definitely stronger than what I have seen elsewhere pinned up to my uniform super easy.
