These new Imperial German marching boot straps or "Fußschoner" are constructed of heavy duty leather with grey metal buckles.These were designed to be worn with the standard infantry boot to tighten the area around the ankle to provide a more secure fit thus cutting down on the foot moving too much in the boot and chafing. These Marschriemen are excellent reproductions with all the details of the originals. Sold in pairs.

Fußschoner, marching book straps, were used by landser in The Great War of 1914-1918, to keep their marchstiefel snug on their feet in the sucking mud of France and Russia. These little straps keep your boots from slipping and causing blisters. A neat little addition to your boot repertoire. Also fits M-1933 Marchstiefel.
