WWII German Poster - Victory will be Ours!

Famous poster by the artist Elk Eber with "The victory will be ours!" slogan. Dramatic scene with a Soldat and Flags. The poster has been mounted on heavy card stock for display.

This looks and feels like an original, and the previous owner purchased it as an original back in the 1970's. But it is in fact a vintage reproduction made in the 1960's by the Imperial War Museum in London for sale in their souvenir shop! The unscrupulous dealer cut of the bottom 1/2" of the poster that stated: "M.F.P. Printed by Her Majesty's Stationary Office Press Manor Farm, Reproduction from an original held by the Imperial War Museum."  This is the case with most of these posters on the market today.  The original poster should measure 843 x 583 mm.

Still a very nice vintage poster suitable for framing. The overall size is approx. 27.5" x 19".
