1909 Entrenching Tool Cover - Brown

This item is exactly what it is advertised as. It holds and secures the flat-tipped entrenching shovel as issued to Imperial German troops during WW1. It is colored a nice brown to match the rest of the period kit, and the spade of the shovel slides snugly into the main body of the cover. The handle is secured from sliding out during strenuous movements by a single strap that wraps around and buckles to hold your shovel in place no matter how quickly you sprint across No-Man's Land. The cover fits onto the equipment belt via two belt loops at the top of the item in question, and is an essential piece of soldier's kit if you're trying to put together a complete uniform. I don't regret buying it, and recommend it to anyone wanting to get into historical reenactments for WW1 or period airsoft competitions. It is a product that is definitely worth the modest price.
