New, original, sleeve patch for the Bundeswehr 1st Mountain Division (1. Gebirgsdivision). The Gebirgsjäger are some of Germany's most elite troops, specialized in mountain and winter warfare. The 1st Mountain Division saw service in the Balkans as well as Somalia. Machine woven with distinctive edelweiss on a green back ground with white and silver trim. Measures approximately 3" X 2.5". New and un-issued condition.
