Product Description
Original East German NVA Paratrooper Camo Jacket. This jacket is one of the last patterns issued before the East German Army ceased to exist in 1989. This particular jacket lacks the shoulder board buttons and holes typically found on NVA uniforms as the new rank insignia was to be worn on the upper arms. It does appear that the previous owner decided to have his shoulder boards attached anyway because of thread remnants on each shoulder (see pictures). Jacket also features knitted collar and cuffs, concealed shoulder pockets with button closure, small camo loops over each pocket and back as well as elbow re-enforced patches. Original NVA (National Peoples Army) issue. Jacket is marked 'g 48' (Medium) and shows actual use. One only.
