Original East German two piece aluminum mess kit. NVA (Nationale Volksarmee) issue with original light grey paint exterior. Two piece construction consisting of a top with handle and large lower with wire carry handle. First Pattern, similar to mess kits used by German soldiers in WWI and WWII. All mess kits show minor wear and scuff marks from storage but all appear to be lightly used or in un-issued condition. May vary slightly from photo.
