Product Description
Very interesting, original East German Army NVA Special Equipment Bag with shoulder strap. This appears to be used for some type of specialized equipment because of it's shape and the two closure tabs for the top flap and the smaller pocket sewn inside the bag. It is not a magazine pouch, not a gas mask bag. Most likely it is for some type of Commo, NBC or Engineer gear or to carry accessories for a crew served weapon. The bag measures 10" wide x 11" tall x 3" deep and is in Very good condition, just needs a little clean up.
