A classic vintage pair of genuine war time Hensoldt Wetzlar 8 x 24 porro prism binoculars. These are the Hensoldt Wetzlar 8 x 24 "Grossfeld" binocular with Spezialglas high quality lenses (lenses made by deutsche Spezialglas AG who were owned by Carl Zeiss from 1930 onwards) includes the original calf leather, lined case and straps. This Hensoldt Grossfeld model was made over a seven year period between 1936-1943. Officers often used their own private purchase binoculars and this is such a pair. In very working good condition with clean and scratch-free lenses but the prisims could use a cleaning.
