Reproduction Japanese M1938 (Type 98) Entrenching Tool. Olive painted steel shovel with removable wooden handle and Tan cotton canvas carrier. This exact copy of the WWII Japanese E-Tool was made about 15 years ago by the Famous Tokyo company Nakata Shoten. It was purchased in Tokyo as a sample for a film production and has never been used. Shovel and Carrier are in Excellent Condition, wood handle is dry from storage and has a minor split (about 1/8" deep) but still in very good condition. Perfect for collectors and reenactors.
