Reproduction Japanese M1939 (Showa 5 Model, Type 99) Canteen. Brown aluminum bottle with wooden stopper and leather stopper straps, olive cotton canvas harness with adjustable shoulder strap. This exact copy of the WWII Japanese Canteen was made about 15 years ago by the Famous Tokyo company Nakata Shoten. It was purchased in Tokyo as a sample for a film production and has never been used. It is in Excellent Condition, and perfect for collectors and reenactors.
