Pair of Reproduction Japanese Army Jika-Tabi black, rubber soled canvas lightweight shoes with a separate toe section. Jika-tabi boots were commonly worn by Japanese soldiers. These rubber-soled footwear that separated the wearer's big toe from the others were developed around the turn of the 20th century and they were based on the design of the traditional Japanese split-toed sock. These are about 25 years old and show some wear. Still in Good, serviceable condition. Marked size 270 (9 US).
