Product Description
Original WWII era manufacture. Printed cloth bag with a drawstring top. A uniquely Japanese item from World War II was the imon-bukuro, or comfort bag. Similar to modern day care packages, they were hand-assembled packages of comfort items for the troops sent by the folks back home. They often contained sweets, canned food, toiletries etc. Soldiers used them to carry personal effects and toiletry items. Overall shows honest service use and wear, but is still in Very Good Condition.
