This is a full size replica of the Airborne version of the standard M1 carbine that were produced with a collapsible stock which allowed for even more compactness for combat jumps. Originally carried by paratroopers in WWII the same carbine saw continued use by other troops in the Korea and Vietnam conflicts. It is made of metal with removable magazine, folding stock, real wood stock and hand guard and correct WWII barrel configuration without the bayonet lug common on late and post-war variants. Cocking mechanism and trigger function. Muzzle of barrel has red plug (required by law). Perfect for display, military vehicle owners and reenactors. Pretty good
I ordered this gun once i got it i was surprised with the quality. The wood and metal is awesome best quality materials. Another good part is it comes with the sling so you don't have to buy one. Unless you want a different more lighter green. The only complaints i have is that the stock of the gun is able swing open on its own. The last one is the but plate doesn’t stay flat most of the time. But other than those this gun is worth the money.
