New, inert replica of the "Commercial" version of the famous Thompson 1928 sub-machine gun that was pressed into service early in the war by the US military and used heavily by British and other commonwealth troops "Tommy Gun". This is a full size replica with the distinctive 50 round drum magazine, wooden pistol style fore grip and ribbed barrel. Used by GIs , Marines, and Sailors throughout WWII, Korea and Vietnam. It is made of metal with authentic manufacture stampings, real wood stock, fore grip and pistol grip. The bolt cocks and fires from an open position and comes with a removable 50 round drum magazine (magazine has no internal spring.) Muzzle of barrel has red plug (required by law).
