Product Description
New, from QMI in Belgium, M43 Parachute Trousers ( De Brabander Mfg. Co.)
NEW. High Quality Reproduction made by De Brabander.
Trousers, Field, Cotton O.D., PARA "M43 Field Trousers, with cargo pockets. (Paratrooper)"
FITTING: These trousers are cut 1 inch oversize to allow trousers to be worn over woolen or pile trousers. When not worn over trousers, waist can be adjusted by tabs on sides. Be sure to get trousers marked your normal size to allow fit under all conditions. If you wear suspenders and inner trousers, slip suspenders through loops and attach them to inner trousers. Tightening ankle tab secures additional warmth and keeps trousers in boots.

Historically Accurate
To respond to a previous review, the pocket material is the historically correct canvas and not cotton. Paratrooper pockets on M43 were made from canvas material and not cotton. To my knowledge there is no other company making these correctly (ATF uses standard cotton) other than QMI. Love the pants and they fit true to size. 10/10 would recommend.

A Tad Costume Like
Overall they’re okay but compared to the price of others out there it’s possible there are better options. Not fault of Hessen as shipping was good. The fabric for the waits and pockets seems more like synthetic than cotton. Additionally the cargo pockets are made of very stiff canvas. They do not seem high waisted but are not low. They were long enough. I’m a seamstress so I plan to take them apart and alter the pattern and use more correct period fabric I got from ATF
