Product Description
Original British Army Denim Battledress Blouse. These were introduced at the beginning of the Second World War as a replacement for the earlier fatigues. The design closely followed the serge Battledress introduced in 1940 but was made from denim and had removable buttons. The jacket features a full set of 'BACHELOR' revolving shank buttons which are all held in place with the correct brass split rings. Dated 1952 on the original label as well as the size (9) and maker details. Size is Medium Regular (38-40" Chest.) The jacket is in Excellent condition.
