WWI Imperial Germany Navy, Short Parade Jacket "die Jacke" for a Seaman. Made of Navy Blue wool with a black satin lining. Unfortunately someone took off all the buttons, probably after the war to use on other garments. Has the Sailor's ID numbers hand embroidered into the lining as was the tradition. Small size. Shows normal age for a 100 year old jacket. Besides missing the buttons, it is in Very Good Condition.
