Original WWII, US Army Gas Mask, Diaphram, M3-1XA1-1VA1. The M3-1XA1-1VA1 gas mask was a World War II gas mask used by the US Army. It was a diaphragm mask which allowed speech to be heard. Restricted to use by officers and enlisted men performing duties where speech was required, like giving orders. The mask was issued to ground personnel in 1942 and 1943. The mask is missing the hose and filter but otherwize in good shape. 1942 dated. Great as it is or can be used for parts/restoration.
