Original WWII Austrian Map Case. This is an Austrian Army (Heer) Kartentasche. Dated 1938, just before the Anschluss. Most likely used by Austrian units that were transferred to the Wehrmacht. Case has nice Austrian HBA stamps with Austrian Eagle. Case is used but can be cleaned up. Leather and stitching are solid. No shoulder strap. Missing the main Tuck Lock clasp. These clasps are available from Tandy Leather, Amazon and others. Measures approximately 10 x 7.5" Great item for restoration.
