Very nice pair of original WWII, Gaiters, Ski. WWII mountain troops & ski troops canvas gaiters, intended for mountain troops. These short canvas leggings, featuring a leather strap, were to be worn with the ski-moutain boots in order to prevent snow from entering the top of the latter. Issued to the 10th Mountain Division and First Special Service Force. This is the first type, made of light khaki canvas (OD 3) Manufactured in 1942 by “Hood Rubber Co.” Size: Medium. This pair is in Very Good condition and shows minor use. Ski Boots not included, only shown for reference.
