Original, 4 pronged, US Army M1 grenade adapters dated either 1944 or 1945 for use with the M1 Garand and M7 launcher (not included). Painted OD and made of sheet metal these adapters are in overall good condition but may show storage wear, scratches and light surface rust in spots. 1944 dated adapters cost $45.00 more ($100).
Official governmental nomenclature for each adapter are;
ADAPTER, GRENADE, PROJECTION M-1
1944 Dated adapters are produced by J.J.N. - 15, 1944
1945 Dated adapters are produced by GML 47, 1945
These are the 4 Pronged WWII version. The post war version (M2) only has 3 prongs.

Excellent Product
I was very pleased with the M1 grenade adapter, I purchased the 1945 dated adapter and it is in excellent shape with little to no rust, it has very slight scratches all over it from storage but are very minor and can only be seen with close examination, overall in excellent condition shape for its age, would highly recommend

1944 & 1945 WW2 M1 Grenade Adapter
They look great and are in fine shape. Yes, there's some wear but they're very old and these things get that way even in storage. They are great display items. Excellent deal and I looked around for quite a while.
