This is an original unissued WW II US NAVY leather chinstrap for the MK-2 Talker Helmet (Gunners Helmet). The leather is natural color and still soft and pliable. The chinstrap has an adjustable buckle on each end for adjustments. At the ends of the chin strap there is a round piece of leather with hooks on each end for attaching it to the helmet. Very good condition showing minor storage age.
