Original WWII US Army Signal Corps Remote Control Radio Unit RM-29-A. Remote Control Unit RM.29A provides remote control voice operation of Radio Sets and in conjunction with Telephone EE-8. Often used by command posts, field artillery and reconnaissance units. Allowed operation of radios from over two miles away.
This RM-29-A still has the data plate attached to the front. The unit does not appear to have any significant damage to it, however the ANTI-HOWL PRESS Switch SW-175 is broken and included. Internally the Ringer bracket has broken. Canvas and Leather CS-76F case is in good shape except that there is some corrosion to one of the rivets that holds the carry strap and one of the lift the dot snaps is coming loose. No hand set or Head phones included. There are some superficial scratches and rub marks that removed a little paint. Externally it looks nice, but will need some repairs if you want it to function. Overall in good condition. The unit has not been tested. Ready to display in your WWII U.S. Army Signal Corps collection!
