These are new made reproduction US Army M-56 Individual Field Pack (Butt Pack) as used by US troops during the Vietnam war.
This is the early version of the M-56 Field Pack. It is slightly smaller and more square than the later M-61 Field Pack and it does not have the rubber collar liner. Butt Pack is attached via ALICE Clips like the originals. Now there is no reason to tear up your original M-1956 LBE items. New and Unused.
