Reproduction German entrenching tool. As original issued German Army issue straight handled e-tools have become almost impossible to find, we have been able to source these reproduction 'Spaten'. Each e-tool measure approximately 21" in length and feature a stamped steel head and wooden handle like original examples. Suitable for both WWI & WWII German impressions. Often times we ship the Spaten separately.

Good repro for the price
I got this in place of an original shovel for my ww2 german impression it fits my shovel cover (from another vendor) well and has correct dimensions compared to an orignal I handled. The paint is sturdy but the color is only okay in my opinion. Metal is sturdy and seems reliable. Overall for the price great reproduction shovel

Feels rather sturdy, looks great as well. I'd say it's pretty darn good for what you pay for.
