Product Description
New reproduction S 98 Quillback Bayonet Frog made of heavy top grade leather. For use with the narrow bladed Bayonets. This frog can be used with any of the early thin bladed Seitengewehr 98 or Erzatz Bayonets issued throughout the First World War to Imperial German Infantry troops. Made of "rough-side-out" natural tan leather with authentic stitching and reinforcement rivets.
For use with narrow blade bayonets. It will not fit 84/98 or 98/05 bayonets.

Better than it looks in the photograph. A very well made S 98 Quill bayonet frog which has been manufactured to an authentic specification with excellent leather, rivets, and stitching. Fits well. Impressive product and service from the team at Hessen Antiques.
